The question is, what the "Samsung Messages" doing? SMS are SMS regardless, and the SMS app is just an interface, the service behind it is the same whatever app sends the SMS. I'm all out of patience and I can not find a real fix to this issue. So they are receiving MMS but not SMS (pictures but not texts). I've done just about all the research I can do on this and can't come up with anything reasonable, as a consumer, to do. She uses iMessage on her iPhone 6 and has deleted all texts from me as well. Things I've tried on my end (not in any particular order):ģrd party text message apps (Textra by Delicious and Messenger by Google) as well as the default apps.Ĭlearing cache/data on all messaging apps.ĭisabled text message apps that I wasn't using. It is like there is a database somewhere of all my old second parts that I have sent to her and they are invading all my newly sent messages. It will look normal on my end but she will send me a screenshot of the resultant frankentext. Basically the first part (from 0-160 characters) will send normally and anything after that is lost/replaced by the second part of a text I sent days, weeks or even months ago. If it is or is close to being a multi-part text, my messages will mix with old texts and she will get a different text from what I sent. We can text back and forth easily as long as the texts are not or even close to multi-part texts (160+ characters). ![]() She has an iPhone 6 (AT&T) and I have had a Galaxy S5 and an S6 (both AT&T) for the duration of this problem. ![]() This happened for the last few months and only with one person. ![]()
